Network Snapshot

A Bitcoin nodeis a computer somewhere on the internet running software (like Bitcoin Core) that downloads, verifies, and relays the Bitcoin blockchain. Each row below is one such computer that your local crawler reached, did a handshake with, and asked “who are you, what version, what height?”

Every node here is ● online — by definition, we only list nodes that responded in the most recent crawl. Compare against the previous cycle on the Home page to see which nodes just came online or just went offline.

Real bitnodes.io sees ~17,000 reachable nodes; you see fewer because your crawler has only been running a short while and is bounded by this WSL2 box’s network. The list grows as workers find more peers via getaddr.
